What should I do when I win a job? 

When you receive an alert to let you know you have won a job you should aim to respond as quickly as possible. There will of course be times when you’re busy and aren’t able to respond immediately but you should always respond within two days of winning the job.  

Send a simple message to acknowledge you have received their booking and to let them know you will be in contact to confirm their booking details. This is an opportunity to explain any details of the booking and answer any questions the customer may have. 

You should then try and call the customer to confirm this. If you can’t get through, try and leave a message if possible but having already sent a message via the website you have ensured you’ve given the customer options on how to reply.

People may sometimes be busy so it’s usually wise to try them a few times but as long as you have sent one message and accessed their telephone number you have ensured you have tried to confirm the booking and will be able to request a refund on the job if necessary.
