Request Reviews

Customer reviews

Reviews are essential if you want to win more jobs and build a bigger customer base. That’s why you should always request them after completing a booking - it only takes a few minutes, and it has a big impact on your garage profile. Here’s how to do it.

How to request reviews

1. From the homepage, navigate to your ‘jobs won’ feed.

2. Click the ‘view job’ button.

3. Request feedback using the button at the bottom right-hand corner of the job information box.

4. You should then see a green confirmation text box at the top of the page indicating your request has been sent via email to the driver, who will hopefully respond by leaving a review.

Review tips

  • Try to get a review for every job you complete.

  • Think about timing - request a review promptly after the work is finished and politely remind customers when they collect their car.

  • Reply to reviews - this is a sign of excellent customer service and adds a personal touch that people will remember.

Can I get reviews from customers outside of FixMyCar?

You can use the ‘request reviews’ tool to invite customers outside FixMyCar to leave feedback that will be displayed on your profile. However, we can’t host any existing reviews from other platforms and websites.

We recommend doing this to boost your profile in addition to the reviews you already get through FMC. All you have to do is click the ‘request reviews’ button in the navigation bar and fill out the form with the correct contact information.

The feedback you receive in this way appears on your profile as an unverified review since the booking didn’t come through FixMyCar.

Review analytics lets you track how many reviews you have received each month. The more positive reviews you get, the easier it will be to win work and build a customer base, so it’s worth keeping an eye on this number.
