Additional work the driver asks you to do after posting the job.
Future customer retention (if a driver comes back to you directly).
If you choose to quote on jobs manually, you can find out the commission fee before you send the quote to the customer. Here’s how.
On the homepage, click the ‘apply for job’ button next to the job you want to win.
A box will pop up on your screen, allowing you to choose a message template and tell the driver what is included in your quote (for example, you may offer a courtesy car).
If you use Auto Quotes, you won’t have the same opportunity to view the commission on every quote before it goes out. But don’t worry - there’s another way to get to know the fees for job categories.
From the homepage, click ‘my jobs’ in the navigation bar. This page is split into three categories:
Job alerts that you haven’t quoted for.
Jobs you have applied for.
Jobs you have won.
You can find information about previous commissions in the ‘jobs won’ tab. Every job has the commission fee displayed next to it - even those in the 'job alerts' tab that you haven't provided a quote for yet.
Let’s have a look at some examples of commission fees from popular job categories. These fees apply from the 10th May 2024.
MOT - £8.06
Full service - £15.86
Clutch replacement - £37.63
Cambelt and water pump - £33.06
Aircon regas - £10.21
Commission fees are applied when a driver accepts your quote, indicating they want to make a booking with you or if you confirm the job on the driver’s behalf by clicking the ‘I’ve booked this car in’ button.
